What should I bring to the Bollywood Banquet?

Hello! I strongly encourage you to bring a dish to the Bollywood Banquet. Here are some ideas for categories:

RICE
NAAN
VEGETARIAN DISH
MEAT DISH
CHICKEN DISH
FISH DISH
SALAD

SWEETS

We'll also need some:
DRINKS
NAPKINS/PAPER TOWELS
FORKS/KNIVES/SPOONS
CUPS
PLASTIC TABLE CLOTHS

* ALL DISHES MUST HAVE AN INDEX CARD TAPED TO THE CONTAINER, LISTING THE LIST OF INGREDIENTS USED IN THE PREPARATION OF THE DISH. IN RECIPES WHERE PEANUTS OR PEANUT OIL IS INVOLVED, WRITE "CONTAINS PEANUTS" IN RED. IF YOUR DISH CONTAINS SHRIMP, LOBSTER, SCALLOPS, OR MUSSELS, WRITE "CONTAINS SHELLFISH" IN RED. IF YOUR DISH CONTAINS NO MEAT, WRITE "VEGETARIAN" IN GREEN.

**Talk to your family about what you are bringing so that you can let me know in class on Monday or Tuesday (depending on when I see you for a block period). I need to know what you're bringing to make sure we have enough of each category! (No one would want too many forks and not enough chicken, right?)

Enjoy this sunshiny weekend!

P.S. REMINDER TO DANCERS- Be in my room or Mr. Carson's room, Monday, by 2:30 pm, WITH YOUR BOLLYWOOD BANQUET OUTFIT and your MUSIC on a CD or THUMB DRIVE. You will perform your routine so that a group of teachers can approve it or make changes. IF YOU ARE LATE, YOU WILL NOT PERFORM AT THE BANQUET. IF YOU DO NOT BRING YOUR OUTFIT, YOU WILL NOT PERFORM AT THE BANQUET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.P.S. REMINDER TO ALL GIRLS- Henna party in Room 500, Monday and Wednesday AFTER SCHOOL. Bring some cash, as this is a fundraiser, and you will be charged a fee for the work done, based on the design you choose. Proceeds from henna party will be split 50/50 between your class and the senior class.
